Nurturing the Artistic Vision of Sedona
Galleries * Art School * Events

Sedona Arts Center was the first heartbeat of the arts community in Sedona. For over 50 years it has been the gathering place of artists to learn, to teach, to share their passion for art, and to support one another.

The Art School is the foundation of the Center with a talented, award-winning faculty of professional artists. Classes, workshops, and field expeditions are offered year-round and designed for all levels and all ages - from beginners taking the first tentative steps into the world of art, to those who have been honing their skills for years.

The Fine Art Members Gallery (Open daily 10am – 5pm) opens a new exhibit on the First Friday of each month – offering the largest selection in Sedona of works by local artists. Sedona Arts Center is a 501 (c) 3 arts organization, which means that no sales tax is charged on purchases, an immediate ~10% savings over purchases made elsewhere, making it the perfect place to buy art in Sedona. Membership discounts are also available.

The Arts Center’s signature event is the 5th Annual Sedona Plein Air Festival. For nine days each October, 30 of the country’s finest plein–air artists “Paint Sedona” while visitors and residents alike are invited to enjoy a variety of daily artistic experiences.
