Mountain Trails Gallery located in beautiful Tlaquepaque proudly continues its more than 30 year tradition of offering the best in American fine art. From its legacy of traditional subjects and styles to contemporary interpretations of the West, the gallery offers a varied selection of paintings, sculpture, jewelry, mixed media objects, as well as fine art furniture by more than 50 award-winning artists, from smaller works of art to larger than life-size sculpture.

Collectors of Western fine art continue to seek out sculpture from three generations of the Payne family, including Cowboy Artists of America member Dustin Payne who continues to keep the Western spirit alive in his action-packed bronze historical narratives. Notable also is Susan Kliewer, known for her sensitive portrayal of the Native American cultures, who is often seen sculpting in the gallery. Virtuoso artist Lisa Danielle brings her love of western artifacts and cultural objects to life on canvas as does Kristii Melaine whose paintings are housed in 23 permanent museum collections. Esteemed wildlife as well as figurative, landscape, and plein-air artists are also a highlight including Raymond Gibby, Bryce Pettit, Steven Lang, Bill Cramer, Richard Boyer, Betty Carr, and more.

The Carnival Shadows by Michelle Condrat, oil, 24" x 24"     Light and Shadow by Bill Cramer, oil, 10 x 15"

Mountain Trails Gallery has also integrated a fresh group of contemporary artists with complex techniques which is bringing new visitors and collectors to its space upstairs overlooking Tlaquepaque's Patio de las Campanas. With a view of Oak Creek, a number of surprises can be found in the gallery’s multiple rooms and alcoves including the unique colored pencil paintings by wildlife artist Sandra Byland, or the still life layered paintings by Sarah Siltala, or the contemporary paintings by Michelle Condrat whose intensified color, broad-blended strokes and love of geometry creates an illusion of movement in her landscapes.

Often heard from collectors and art lovers, "Mountain Trails Gallery is the best gallery in Sedona, where one can experience an impressive variety of styles, techniques, and artists at work in the gallery." We warmly welcome visitors from all walks of life to experience Mountain Trails Gallery, the best of the new American West.
